This is a fascinating glimpse into how polarized our country has become. Gallup asked Americans to rate Trump from 0-100. Among Democrats, the average score is 16; a majority of Democrats give Trump a score of 3 or lower, and 75% rate him below a 20. In contrast, the average score among Republicans is 77, and 53% of all Republicans give him a score of 80 or higher.
So if you and all your friends — whatever part of the political spectrum — are convinced that the future holds an easy path to a better place, put your seat belts on. The political wedge is dividing us into two utterly noncommunicative factions… and down that road lies a bleak future.
